Stopped in for lunch with a friend and had one of the most grounded, flavor-rich meals I’ve had in years. The space itself is welcoming and full of texture—just like the food. We both ordered the Smoked Bacon Street Tacos, and let me say: that pork belly was next-level. Sweet, smoky, tender, and layered with just enough crunch and heat to make every bite memorable. It was, honestly, one of the best flavor profiles I’ve ever experienced. A must-try. I paired mine with the Apple & Smoked Almond Salad—a fresh, vibrant blend of greens, dried apricot, champagne vinaigrette, and that perfect smoky nut crunch. Brett had the tacos as well and added the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which came out hearty and beautifully balanced. Our server Lillie was attentive, calm, and absolutely fantastic. She made the whole experience feel unrushed and thoughtful. Whether you’re staying at the Marriott or just exploring downtown Fort Wayne, Conner’s is worth a stop. What a wonderful establishment in the downtown area with a broad and delicious menu items. Sat our large party, even though we had no reservations. Quick table service. Very broad bar menu. Friendly and engaging waitstaff. Food was delicious.
Elevated comfort food is a perfect description for this place. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, the mashed potatoes and coleslaw with it were SO tasty. I would have skipped the deviled eggs as they were lacking pizazz but the fried green tomatoes were very tasty. Even the kids ate all their grilled cheese meals. Great vibes and service as well.
Fantastic ladies Raven, Chloe,and lillie that are working at this place. Really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! I had the grilled chicken sandwich, the chicken is juicy and everything Taste of amazing I love the seasonings on the chicken. French fries super crispy on the outside soft and fluffy inside nice and hot. Had to go back for breakfast and I had the Smoked salmon bagel Let me just say it was yummy!! They had a huge group of people come in for a military conference and these girls all rocked it pulls the night before and the next day.
Check out Conners! We Walked from the Hilton Conference Center. (Super close) The atmosphere is inviting and modern. Summer drinks were refreshing. The location is clean and the waitress was super friendly. The food was delicious. We had the hot chicken and fish tacos. If your staying downtown this is a great spot!
I stayed in the hotel for the week and frequented Conner's several times. They didn't disappoint once. The service, the food, everything was spectacular. I would definitely make my way back there if I'm ever in FW again.
The restaurant is a bit noisy, but the food quality and variety is excellent. If we're back in the area, we'll certainly have to come back again.
What a cool place! Love the mood and decor and seating and everything we ordered was some of the best food we have ever had! 5 apps from 4-6 so we got to try several things! Angelica did a great job serving us, as well!! Will definitely be back!
